At Meraki, we believe that design is an art form, and every project is an opportunity to create timeless and artisanal spaces. Established in 2016, Meraki Homes was created with a passion to create homes that are extremely personalized and driven to meet the highest standards of craftsmanship. We take pride in the rich Indian heritage and create homes that are culturally rooted. It is our constant endeavor to design well articulated projects that reflect finesse and excellence.

Interior Design

We are a boutique brand and take on very selective projects in a year which are personally led by Mrs. Smriti Parwal Jaju. Each project is planned to keep in mind the client’s personal style, needs, and preferences. Every corner is designed with the minutest details including layouts and color symphonies with a vision to create homes that are cultural and timeless.

Bespoke Furniture

Each piece of furniture is designed with an inspiration behind it but also keeping functionality at its core. Our skilled craftsmen bring our vision to life under the careful supervision of Mrs. Madhu Jaju who ensures each piece is flawless before it leaves the Meraki atelier.

Interior Styling

Drawing from the rich history of India, we complete the space by curating bespoke soft furnishings, lights, art, and collectibles to add an artisanal stroke to each corner. All the elements are brought together seamlessly to create ornamental and luxurious homes.

Our team works seamlessly to help turn the nursery of your dreams into a reality. Modern Circus, Hollywood Glam, Vintage Americana, Boho Chic, Tiny Traveler, Jungle life, or Nautical love-the universe is our palette and we are excited to explore it with you.

Furniture

At Meraki, we believe kids’ rooms should be every bit as stylish and personal as grown-up homes, which is why, we take great care to design furniture that is beautiful yet functional. After all, they are setting the stage for some of life’s most precious moments – from walking to talking. Cribs, changing stations, storage, daybeds & study tables- you name it, we make it.

Decor

Every room should reflect a story. We work hand in glove with parents to create the perfect sanctuary for the little one. Fur rugs, hand-embroidered cushions, plush toys, or a soft glowing lamp – we take care of the minutest details to create the perfect hideaway for the little munchkin.

Soft furnishings

Polka dots, stripes, fun ruffles, or perennial favorites like Winnie the Pooh or Noah’s Ark- we design bespoke curtains, sheers, beddings, and cushions. All you have to do is tell us what you want and you will have a nursery worthy of magazine spreads.

Wall Art

Although life can be messy, it still deserves a beautiful backdrop. From flower origami and name-inspired art to animal frescoes, we do it all. The options are truly endless at Meraki.

Mrs Madhu Jaju

She is dynamic and persevering when it comes to bringing beautiful designs to life. She has a deep understanding of distinctive materials, textures, finishes, and blends. She ensures each piece of furniture and décor meets top-notch quality standards before it leaves the Meraki atelier. Her enthusiasm and drive to create power pieces continue to inspire her team and beyond.

"Inspired Pieces" by Meraki Homes

The "Ornamental Emerald" Nesting Table Set

A symbol of fine craftsmanship and challenging design, these corner tables have passed along different skilled hands- starting from selecting the finest Malachite semi-precious stone pieces to cutting and engraving the geometrical shapes manually, beautiful brass inlay patterns handcrafted onto these tables and finishing with high gloss lacquer to protect the brass from getting tainted. The design for these tables was Inspired by beautiful Emerald gold jewellery which not only exudes luxury but is also a classic ornamental piece to own.

The "Metal Swarf" Bar counter

Inspired by the concept of recycling and reusing this bar counter reflects the amalgamation of rawness and luxury come together. The front metal structure was made out of waste metal chips, filings, and shavings welded together in a random pattern to show how imperfection can be beautiful. Rust gold-bronze lacquer was created to layer this metallic grid to give a tarnished look. The body of the bar counter was clad with a mirror to reflect and give depth to the metallic structure.

The “Kamal” Corner Table

Manually hand-sculpted with beautiful curves, this “Kamal” inspired corner table brings with it an innate sense of heritage and culture. Made in solid Teak wood, the table embraces careful craftsmanship to show the intricate petals of a Lotus flower. Lacquered in a beautiful hue of Ivory, the table gives a feeling of calm and a sense of individualism just like the beautiful Kamal flower.
